Description
We will be walking across the beautiful Kent countryside following the North Downs across a valley with the historical town of Otford as a backdrop. The area is a protected nature reserve with chalk grasslands rich in a variety of habitats such as wild flowers, butterflies and bees.
This walk is hilly in parts and therefore good mobility and fitness is necessary.
Please bring lunch and 1ltr of water with you.
Please wear sturdy footwear (no open toe shoes) and dress appropriately for the weather.
Time: Meet at 10.15 for 10.30am departure. Ending at approx. 4.00pm (times are approximate, we strongly suggest not making arrangements close to the end time)
Distance: This is a 8.5 mile/13.5km (approx.) hike
