Happy Valley and Farthing Downs

This 4.5 hour walk takes in the stunning views of Happy Valley and Farthing Downs. We’ll see an array of wildlife which thrives in these special grassland areas. We’ll have a rest break at a beautiful country pub.
This wonderful area has recently become a National Nature Reserve called the South London Downs.
A good level of fitness is needed to join this walk. The total walk will take approximately 4 hours, plus a 30 minute break at a pub. This route includes some steep inclines as it cuts across valleys, it is not suitable for someone with mobility issues.
Please wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather. We recommend bringing 1ltr of water and a packed lunch with you.
Time: 10.30 – 15.00 (times are approximate we suggest not making arrangements close to the end time)
Meet: Kenley train station (exit platform 2)
End: Coulsdon south train station
