WitC was incorporated as an asset locked non-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) in April 2016 and is governed by a Board of Directors.
The Board includes independent Non-Executive Directors, the Board is responsible for ensuring that WitC meets it statutory and other obligations.

Beth Collier
Director

Beth is Wild in the City’s founder, she leads on strategy, programmes, research and policy. Beth is a Nature Allied Psychotherapist and ethnographer who teaches natural history and woodland living skills.
Beth has a background in research and policy, managing programmes and consultancies in the fields of psychological health and human rights. She has a life long passion for nature stemming from a rural upbringing.
Jackie Jackson
Director of Operations

Jackie joined Wild in the City in April 2022 as the Director of Operations providing maternity cover for operational aspects of Beth’s role.
Jackie has over 20 years of national and international experience in administration and financial management within both the not-for-profit and Higher Education sectors. Her experience spans supporting organisations to achieve the best outcomes by strengthening systems, operational procedures, and workflow to encourage and facilitate staff development and teamwork.
In her spare time, Jackie enjoys spending time in nature, playing tennis, reading, and listening to podcasts.
Chloe Thompson-Haynes
Non-Executive Director
Chloé joined Wild in the City in October 2022 as a Non-Executive Director.
Chloé’s expertise is in reducing Barriers to Nature and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. This includes the history, current climate, and new policies and practices in Equality and Barriers to Nature. Her experience includes working both abroad and in the UK to enable more people to access nature.
In her spare time, Chloé enjoys reading and going for walks in the great outdoors.
Oteri Otobor
Non-Executive Director
Oteri joined Wild in the City in July 2023 as a Non-Executive Director.
Her background is in marketing within the arts and heritage, culture and entertainment sectors. This experience includes strategy, product and campaign management across national and international brands.
As well as spending time in nature, Oteri enjoys dancing and diving into the realms of psychology and wellness.
