Description
We will be walking through the Sussex border, following the High Weald trail. Along the way expect to see, historic parks, sunken lanes, ridge top villages and the largest amount of woodland areas in the country, including ancient woodlands.
This is an area of outstanding beauty and a designated area for conservation, home to a variety of birds, including kingfishers and swallows, dragonflies, butterflies, Roe deer and grazing animals.
Please bring lunch and at least 1ltr of water with you.
Please wear sturdy footwear (no open toe shoes), dress appropriately for the weather and remember to bring plenty of water in these higher temperatures.
Time: Meet at 10.15 for 10.30am departure. Ending at approx. 3.30pm (times are approximate, we strongly suggest not making arrangements close to the end time)
