We will learn different crafts and techniques over the four sessions, working at your own pace, enjoying conversation, good company and beautiful views in the park.  You can attend the full series of four sessions or join us for occasional sessions.  All places need to be booked in advance.

June/July 2016

The Joy of Flowers

In our first series we’ll get creative with plants and flowers.  Learn to identify local species, make and paint your own flower press, print fabric using leaves and flowers, create botanical prints for cushion covers and more, make picture frames and decorative art with pressed flowers.

August/September 2016

The Joy of Nettles

In our second series we will learn to safely harvest nettles, producing fibres to make string; we will use the string to make coasters and baskets and for knitting, making our own knitting needles.
