Description
Join us to celebrate the majesty of trees, learn to identify common British trees without the clues provided by flowers, fruit or leaves. During a short hike (approx 1.5hrs) get to know trees in winter, recognising them from their buds, twigs, bark and shape, hear about trees’ traditional uses as resources for living and folklore about these ancient beings. We’ll have time around the fire to reflect on what trees mean to us (reflection will be recorded for research, findings will be reported anonymously).
Please wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
