Come and join us on our Coombe Lane Circular. This stunning hike includes a breathtaking viewpoint at Addington Hills, London’s largest area of heathland covered in heather and gorse. We’ll be passing through ancient woodland with Oaks, Ash, and Birch and listening for green woodpeckers. Selsdon Woods Nature Reserve is an additional highlight with both woodland and open fields, altogether a refreshing countryside hike!
A good level of fitness is needed to join this walk. The total walk will take approximately 4.5 hours plus a 30-minute break for lunch. This route includes some steep inclines, it is not suitable for someone with mobility issues. Please wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather. We recommend bringing 1ltr of water and a packed lunch with you.
