Start and end time: 10.15 meet to start hike promptly at 10:30 am – 16.00pm (End times are approximate. We suggest not making arrangements close to the end time)
Join us as we explore the Chess Valley, located within the Chilterns area of national beauty. We will be walking alongside the river Chess, through woodland and the rolling hills. The river Chess is a chalk stream rich in wildlife which includes kingfishers, water voles, orchid and dragonflies. We will be keeping our eyes peeled for the signs of spring in nature and enjoy observing the changes in seasons that will be all around us.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. A moderate level of fitness is needed to join this walk. We recommend bringing 1ltr of water and a packed lunch with you. We’ll stop halfway at a pub for a hot drink. There will be access to toilets at this halfway stop.
