This is part of a series of hikes celebrating ancient trees. Join us for this special walk to the ancient Tanbridge Yew, estimated to be over 2,500 years old.
We’ll hike through a delightful mix of woodland and stunning panoramic views of open countryside and have our lunch at a historical pub in Old Oxted. Local wildlife includes deer, foxes and a variety of bird and wildflower species.
There will be some narrow paths with overgrowth, so please dress appropriately for this and the weather and wear sturdy footwear. We recommend bringing 1ltr of water and a packed lunch with you. A moderate level of fitness is needed for the walk.
Cost: £5
(For information: Attendee thresholds are Min. 3 / Max. 18)
