Enjoy camping and community, celebrating people of colour in nature at the Wild in the City Festival weekend!
Get away from it all without leaving the city this summer.
Wild in the City Festival brings 3 days and 2 nights camping in Croydon woodland, with walks, talks and workshops.
Small and chill, our micro festival will provide opportunities for relaxation, conversation and the enjoyment nature within a wonderful ancient oak woodland, home to badger, buzzards, kestral, deer and rabbits.
We will be hosting talks from a range of environmental disciplines; walks in London’s countryside, workshops in wildlife identification, woodland living skills and wild well-being that connect us with nature.
With easy access from public transport, our festival will bring communities together around the campfire.

Our programme features inspiring keynote talks throughout the weekend from black and Asian practitioners working in nature. Get inspired and join the conversation! Our weekend also offers walks and workshops in arts and craft, bushcraft, mindfulness and nature therapy to name a few. The event will be catered with West African inspired food from Chopwell.

Day tickets start at £35
3 Day tickets start at £50.
Family tickets include up to 5 people
(max. 2 adults, max. 4 children, any additional children will be charged £15)
Refund Policy: 50% refund up to 1 month before, no refund after.
Location: New Addington, Croydon
Our festival will take place in the beautiful backdrop of Croydon’s countryside, and is easily accessible by public transport. The site is a 15 minute walk through the fields from New Addington tram stop, or a 10 minute car journey from East Croydon.
Onsite parking is available. Note: Car parking will be charged at £10 per car.
