Description
Join us for a Solstice circular walk at Merstham.
Plenty of winter warmers on this beautiful hike along the North Downs Way, taking in two stunning viewpoints, woodlands and a historical footbridge! We are likely to see bracket and other funghi, hear blue-tits and robins and watch out for mammal footprints like fox, badger and deer. We will stop for an outdoors lunch and at a cafe on our way back for a hot drink.
Please bring lunch and at least 1ltr of water with you.
Please wear sturdy footwear (no open toe shoes) and dress appropriately for the weather.
Time: Meet at 10.15 for 10.30am departure. Ending at approx. 4.00pm (times are approximate, we strongly suggest not making arrangements close to the end time)
Distance: This is a 7.5 mile (12.5km) hike
Meeting/end point: Merstham station
