DESCRIPTION:Druids Grove – Sunday 1st September 2024\n\nTime: 10.15 meet to start hike promptly at 10:30 am – 16:00 pm (End times are approximate. We suggest not making arrangements close to the end time)\n\nMeeting point: Westhumble Station\n\nEnd Point: Westhumble Station\n\nDistance: 11km\n\nJoin us for this lovely walk through the North Downs. As part of this series on ancient trees we will visit the Druids Grove\, an ancient eco woodland system\, where some of the Yews are estimated to be over 2000 years old.\n\nWe will hike through a varied landscape of woodland\, grassland and a river valley and stop to have our lunch at a historic pub. There may be some narrow paths with overgrowth\, so please dress appropriately for this and the weather and wear sturdy footwear. We recommend bringing a 1ltr of water and a packed lunch with you. A good level of fitness is needed for this walk\, as there will be steep inclines.\n\nCost: £5\n\n(For information: Attendee thresholds are Min. 3 / Max. 18) \nPlease note: This hike is for People of Colour. \nPlaces are limited so please book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.    \nClick here for more details and to book your place.
