A good level of  mobility & fitness required. \nFree for all attendees as part of our Hike for Health programme \nPlaces are limited so please book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.  \n(For information: Attendee thresholds are Min. 3 / Max. 18) \nTHIS HIKE IS FULLY BOOKED!  Please complete the form below if you would like to be added to the waiting list. \nThis is a 4.5 hour walk\, with a 30mins rest stop at a pub/café for refreshments. \nJoin us for a walk through Epping Forest and it’s surrounding countryside. \nA good level of fitness is needed to join this walk. DESCRIPTION:Hurst Green Circular \nMonday 10th April 2023 \n10.30am – 3.00pm \n Hike Grading: Hilly in places. A good level of  mobility & fitness required. \nFree for all attendees as part of our Hike for Health programme \nPlaces are limited so please book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.  \n(For information: Attendee thresholds are Min. 3 / Max. 18) \nTHIS HIKE IS FULLY BOOKED!  Please complete the form below if you would like to be added to the waiting list. \nThis circular hike is 4 hours plus a 30 mins rest stop at an historical country pub.  \nWe’ll be making our way along part of the Greensand Ridge with its views to the Weald and then on to Limpsfield Chart. This common is part of an ancient heath and wooded landscape managed by the National Trust and contains a restored WWII air raid shelter.  Home to songthrush\, roe deer\, and even lizards\, we might even spot rare hoverflies. \nMidway\, we’ll have a short rest stop for a hot drink at a pub then make our way back to Hurst Green. \nThis walk is hilly in parts and therefore good mobility and fitness is necessary.  \nWe recommend bringing lunch and 1ltr of water with you. \nPlease wear sturdy footwear (no open toe shoes) and dress appropriately for the weather. \n\nTime: 10.30am – 3.00pm (times are approximate\, we strongly suggest not making arrangements close to the end time) \nDistance: This is a 7 mile/10km (approx.) hike \nMeeting/end point: Hurst Green rail station  \n\n  \nPlease complete the form below if you would like to be added to the waiting list: \n[Form id=”38″]\n

DESCRIPTION:Dormansland Loop  \nSaturday 15th April 2023 \n10.30am – 4.30pm \n Hike Grading: Hilly in places. A good level of  mobility & fitness required. \nFree for all attendees as part of our Hike for Health programme \nPlaces are limited so please book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.  \n(For information: Attendee thresholds are Min. 3 / Max. 18) \nBooking is now closed for this walk! \nThis walk passes through Dormansland village\, situated near to Dry Hill – a settlement dating from 500B.C. We will be walking part of the Tandridge border path and the Vanguard Way\, passing through woodlands\, fields and likely to see bees and butterflies\, kites and maybe swifts\, returning to the UK. We will stop for a packed lunch near an Iron Age hill fort\, then continue back to Dormans station.  \nPlease note! This walk is longer than our average walks so please be punctual and try not to plan anything afterwards.  \nThis walk is hilly in parts and therefore good mobility and fitness is necessary. Unfortunately it is not suitable for people with mobility issues. \nWe recommend bringing lunch and 1ltr of water with you. \nPlease wear sturdy footwear (no open toe shoes) and dress appropriately for the weather. \n\nTime: 10.30am – 4.30pm (times are approximate\, we strongly suggest not making arrangements close to the end time) \nDistance: This is a 8.5 mile/13.5km (approx.) hike \nMeeting/end point: Dormans rail station  \n\n  \nBooking is now closed for this walk. \n
