DESCRIPTION:Date:  Sunday 10th May 2026\n\nMeeting Point:  Berkhamsted Rail Station\n\nEnd Point:  Berkhamsted Rail Station\n\nEstimated Distance in km:  13km\n\nStart & End Time:  10:15 meet to start hike promptly at 10:30 – 16:30 (End times are approximate. We suggest not making arrangements close to the end time.)\n\nBrief description of the hike:  Join us for a beautiful May tide walk exploring the woodlands\, open countryside\, and scenic trails surrounding Berkhamsted. This route offers a mix of peaceful valleys\, gentle hills\, and lovely views across the Hertfordshire landscape.\n\nPlease dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear – in case of spring showers\, we encourage you to bring waterproofs to keep you warm and dry. We recommend bringing a minimum of 1ltr of water and a packed lunch or snacks with you.\n\nAny further information\, if required: We will have lunch outdoors. There are toilets at the station but not further access to toilets during the walk. \n\nCost: £5 \n(For information: Attendee thresholds are Min. 3 / Max. 18) \nPlease note: This hike is for People of Colour. \nPlaces are limited so please book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. \n \nMay Hike – Berkhamsted Circular (Hertfordshire) \n \n
