Enjoy the beauty of Gorse in full bloom, with it’s delicate scent and golden flowers bringing in colour and nector during the winter months.  Relax and unwind with some time around the campfire.

We’ll learn how to identify this plant and about it’s beneficial properties.  We’ll forage it’s flowers to make a cordial/syrup over the fire.

Walking from Thornton Heath to Mitcham Common, we’ll enjoy time around the fire to welcome in the spring.

Meet and end: Therapia Lane tram stop (CR0 4UY)

Distance and time: This walk is less than 5 miles.  The experience will last for approximately 4 hours. (We suggest not making another appointment close to our end time as it is approximate)

Social: Around the fire

Please dress appropriately for the weather and being by a fire, and wear sturdy footwear.
