This hands on workshop will teach you how to create beautiful handmade string from natural fibres found in the woodland.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We’ll show you how to harvest and process plants, and the proper techniques for twining natural fibres into string. You’ll spend a relaxing day in the woods, by the fire, making beautiful handmade cordage which you can take home to use in your garden or on your next camping trip.

We’ll provide a simple lunch and refreshments made over the fire.

Having learnt a new skill, and enjoying hours of fresh air and bird song, you’ll leave inspired and rejuvenated.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Sturdy, comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather and activity.
