Into the Wild
Immersed in a woodland setting young people learn how to feel at home in nature developing bushcraft and conservation skills, as well as having reflection time around the campfire.
Combining psychotherapeutic, anthropological and ecological exploration, this programme provides nature based experiential learning in London’s wild spaces.
Our next programme will start in September 2017, places are FREE, please contact us if you would like to join us or refer a young person.
Combining networking and walking, local professionals can get to know each other whilst enjoying the health benefits of being in nature and a light stroll around our beautiful local parks.
We will be providing training to a team of community volunteers from BME backgrounds who will encourage others to be active through walking in green spaces. The walks will be designed to introduce people who are new to spending time in nature to the outdoors and learning about wildlife. We will give the volunteers the tools to be able to engage people in green spaces. Our training will focus on leading walks, befriending and nature awareness. The training sessions will be delivered in parks and woods, running in a weekly series of 6 day sessions.
