Join us for three days of wild camping and have fun learning bushcraft skills and exploring the natural world.

We’ll set up camp in a 60 acre woodland which will be our home during the course. Enjoy fresh air and time with your family in the beautiful surroundings which are home to deer, badger, kestrel, pheasant and rabbits.

Suitable for children 5 and above.

Discover the skills to live comfortably in natural settings. The course will cover;

  • making camp
  • shelter building
  • fire lighting
  • tuning in/nature awareness
  • plant identification
  • animal tracking
  • wildcrafts and games
  • Storytelling

Description

This is a self catering course, you will need to bring food to cover all meals.  Water will be provided.

Families are free to be as involved in our activities as they like or can simply enjoy relaxation time around the fire. Parents are responsible for children at all times.

The course is held in Frylands Wood, Featherbed Lane, CRO 9AA.

Frylands Wood is a beautiful 60 acre woodland which is home to deer, badger, kestral, rabbits and pheasant, just a 10 minute drive south of central Croydon.
