Join us for an introduction to bushcraft on our 3 day course wild camping in the woods, learn how to live comfortably in nature and develop practical skills.

We’ll set up camp in a 60 acre woodland which will be our home during the course. Enjoy fresh air and the beautiful surroundings which are home to deer, badger, kestrel, pheasant and rabbits.

The course will cover;

  • making camp
  • campfire cooking
  • fire lighting techniques
  • safe tool use and cutting techniques
  • plant uses and foraging
  • cordage
  • basketry

Suitable for people over 18 years old.

This course is catered, you will need to bring your own eating utensils, tent (or tarp) and sleeping equipment.

The course is held in Frylands Wood, Featherbed Lane, CRO 9AA.

Frylands Wood is a beautiful 60 acre woodland which is home to deer, badger, kestral, rabbits and pheasant, just a 10 minute drive south of central Croydon.
