Join us for a fascinating morning learning about edible plants growing in a beautiful South London park and semi ancient woodland which was once part of the Great Northwood.  James is a member of the Association of Foragers. He will open up a new window into the world of plants growing locally, learn how to identify edible plants, their traditional uses as food and medicine and how to pick safely. James will share his knowledge about herbalism, wild nutrition, cookery and how our ancestors would have used these amazing plants.  There will be a chance to sample some wild food delights which have been pre-prepared. The morning will last for approximately 3 hours and will include a leisurely walk and some time to relax around our fire at basecamp.
