In July Beth joined guerrilla geographer Dan Raven Ellison on leg 26 of his 560km #BigWalkAroundLondon raising awareness of London’s natural and cultural heritage in support of the campaign to make London a National Park City. Starting at Waddon station at 13.00 the walk wound through Park Hill Park, Lloyds Park, Shirley Heath and West Wickham on route to the walks end at Bromley at 17.00, taking in stunning views, chalk grassland and ancient woodlands.
Watch Beth in conversation with Dan talking about nature and emotional health, discussing What’s nature got to do with our urban mental wellbeing?
